First pics of B8 with standard headlights.

I have been searching for these pics for some time now. I find it very strange that Audi haven´t released official pics in all this time. They are taking orders without the customer knowing what the standard headlights look like, weird. I have also visited several dealers that could not produce pictures of it. I think they look nice though[up]

By "standard" do you mean without the LEDs, or without HIDs? Do they all come with the LEDs?

Yup, without LEDs only come with the optional Xenon package. That is why I think it is so darn weird that Audi has not released official pics yet, that I know of.....

standard A4 is ugly...with or without LEDs....looking at these, it looks very much like the B7 body style, except for the rear and interior

this car had like 1/10 the amount of testing done as the C classs did before giving a new look.. the B7 has only been out for 3 years.. really only 2006-2008 models.
anyways i plan on getting a B8 but waiting for the S4 because by then they will hopefully have corrected any problems they usually oversee lol

What do you mean by 1/10 the amount of testing?

The reason the B7 lifespan is so short because it's really just a refresh of the B6. Same chassis, upgraded mechanical bits, refreshed styling. B8 is new from the ground up.

For what it's worth, the Audi German web site shows the beam difference between the B8's European-standard halogen headlights and the optional "xenon-plus," looking from above... I guess the "plus" means with the LED DRLs.

I'm hearing the xenons might be standard in U.S.-spec B8's? Good... that'll remove the temptation of people retrofitting HID bulbs into halogen reflectors...
