I know it's like suspension... everyone has their opinions...

I need new headlights for my S4, and saw an add for xenonlink.com They offer d2s bulbs for $30 each free shipping. Will these bulbs burn out in a week, or are they just selling at a low mark up (and not being like the Audi dealer doing a couple hundred $$ mark up). Anyone have any other recommendations?

Get yourself come OEM quality Philips 85122 D2S bulbs you can get them new ones off ebay for about $90 a pair.

You'll thank yourself for spending a little more in the long run.

There are 2 ways to look at it.

OE Xenon bulbs on eBay are generally used, if they aren't, they are usually $6-90 per bulb.

For the cost of that, you can buy 2-3 sets of aftermarket bulbs for that and they usually last between 1-2 years anyways. By the time you need to replace them, the price for them will likely be a little lower as well.

You can also purchase them from us - we have them in stock:

Yep you just need to find a reliable seller. Search "akinaboy" I've purchased HID components from him before and I know he doesn't sell used bulbs. He is actually on this board as well as akinaboy.

I know this thread is a few months old, but would these fit on the the b6? my one bulb flickered to where its dead now. I know its the bulb because I took out the working bulb and tested it...worked fine. Only problem is I dunno what size bulb to buy, and from where? I called audi service, n they said $250 for a bulb!!

We recommend the D1S we carry on our site as a lower cost alternative:

We recommend http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/LampReplacementGuide/default.htm for a quick and dirty look up:)
