I'll turn in the V8 for market value, which as you've probably noticed is more than I paid for it. I am pretty sure I will be able to slip into the V10 without much financial pain at all. Unless of course Audi starts making 2500 of these a year for the US! Then I'm screwed. I think I'm pretty safe. [az]

When I bought the W12 (a 2005) the S8 wasn't available. If it were, I would have definitely gone with the S8. Shorter wheelbase. Slightly less torque, but higher revving engine and about 8 grand cheaper. The S8 is bad-ass. I ordered the RS4 because after driving the R8 for a couple of months, I have fallen in love with that engine. [:)]

Canon EOS 1DSMkII, Various lenses. Long exposure (like 45 seconds). I paint the shot with a flashlight while the shutter is open. The writing is me in the shot dressed in black swinging my hand around with the light.

You know as much as I do. The route is kept secret up to the last minute. If people knew the route, then the local constabulary would also know. We wouldn't want that now would we? Check the official Bullrun site for info. I am part of Team Angry which was created by the guy who goes by the name Mr. Angry. He was on the Bullrun TV show and drove the rally a couple of times in a 1968 Dodge Charger. The R8 will be the electronic counter measures car and will have some extreme technology installed...details to follow in May. The team will include:

- '69 Dodge (Model to be announced)
- Ferrari F430 color: Black
- Ferrari F430 color: Silver
- Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano
- Audi R8 Black
- Mercedes S55 AMG
- Porsche 930 Turbo

I did not preorder. Posted up on AW I needed to find one, Audi of Charlotte emailed to say they had this car coming in and did not scalp me with a 30k - 50k premium. Flew over the day after it arrived from the port and closed the deal. Should be arriving here in CA this week.

Pretty much the R8 is my daily driver... but only because the weather is great right now. In Florida we get the rain showers everyday in the afternoon in the summer. (That will stop the daily driving) I will be getting rid of my A6 and want something that will give me a little satisfaction.[:D]

Hi Guys. I'm back. What a whirlwind. If anyone believes that the R8 is a dainty driving glove owner's car...forget it. This thing is unbreakable. 3000 miles at speeds up to 170mph in dirty, dry conditions with temperatures above 120 degrees and the R8 didn't falter once. The Capristo made even the toughest competitors weep. It sounded so incredibly evil. West Coast Customs (the Pimp My Ride guys) voted it the sickest car of the rally and gave me an awesome trophy.
