The inside turbo housing on K03s are not smooth at all. Looking to make nice an smooth, maybe even ceramic coat them.

Thanks

Hey,

S4 in Toronto....welcome to AZ. My mech just had a look inside my manifold. On the 18Ts he says there's not much to port. He just ported out the opening on the manifold to the size of the K03/K04 inlet. It looks like there's not much to port, and creamic coating is proen to cracking.

Yo an S4 w/chip must be ***ING fast!!!!!!

Thanks for the info. I am looking to smooth out the turbo more thant he manifolds. i dont know where to get this done or even how much its gonna cost. And yes, chipping an s4 is fast as hell. I jsut put an APR stealth exhaust on it and it pulls much better. The only think that slows the car down is the heat. I cant wait until october when it gets cool again!

I'd really like to do that but lots of $$$$$$ and Time! not to mension it completely covers your radiator. Looks awesome though[:D]

Hahaha [:p] i know, but havent you looked atht the price?? over $1000 us, not to mension install. I figure, we live in Canada, i can deal with low power for a few months, and its never really that bad here. Especially with this a$$ of a summer this year. Looking for other mods. Have you seen those new Carbonio cold air intakes. they look great, all carbon fiber.....waiting for the S4 development to be over with and a final product out.

I don't know exactly what it looks like under your hood, but if the airbox is too close to the cats, and "cold" air intake may not me that good for your car. I know it's not the best for the 1.8T.

For the A4, i believe the intake is routed down through the bumper and takes air from the lower part of the bumper.

check this out then... www.carboniointakes.com

Thanks only good for the transverse VW. Not the same as the Quattro A4.
