S Line in the seats is nice. Not sure I like the inner roof black. I like the lighter color on my current S Line.

This is common for the EU versions. So, there is hope for you (US) [;)]

Thanks for the details. I am hoping to have the new S4 in my garage whenever it becomes available. Considering diesel if we get one here in the US.

Nicely shaped seats, but I DO NOT like the cloth.
It's nice in a GTI or VW "sporty" car, but it does not belong in a sporty sedan.
I want full leather on the whole seat, or at least on the seating parts as it's now done.
The rear exhaust valance looks cheap in plastic black. For S-line, it needs to be painted body color as it's done now.
Audi always seems to move forward and step back and cheapen some things as they "progress". Some things work and should be left alone.
I am VERY impressed and happy that Audi will bring real sport seats to the US market. Well, at least we think they will. [:D]

bottom line is that one or the other there will always be people who are not happy... i guess we can only wish they do bring these seats over along w/ all the other s-line options... given Audi previous track record on that, that alone would be reason to celebrate...

the current s4 has a grey valance (mine is against sprint blue), and i don't see how it looks cheap. in person, it has a really nice look to it, just enough to break up the lines.

Yes, we all have our likes and dislikes. [:p]
I'm not sure what you think "alcantara" is, but it's not leather or a leather type product like suede. It's a synthetic "cloth" as there isn't any other way to describe it... well, "fake suede" or "synthetic suede" fits nicely.
Either way, it's very cloth like, and I don't like it for a luxury type vehicle.

As mentioned, we all like what we like.
I find gray or black body panels to cheapen the look on any car.
Subaru did it for years, and is still doing it, Kia, Hyundai, etc...
I don't like it. Audi did it for a while on A4's from a few years ago, and those model years looked cheap. I was very happy when they stopped doing the drab gray and black along the bottom body pieces.
I prefer painted in body color body pieces and aero pieces. It gives the overall car a cohesive shape. Breaking up body lines is not part of my like for a cohesive body.[:)]

I feel the same way. I used to hate the the gray valences on the b6 A4. I always wanted to steal the car, have it painted and returned.

I can see how people will like it. Everything in my current S Line is black and I like the lighter color versus everything being black. Feel a bit too cave like for me.

that's a nice car...I can work with that...then throw some flare into it! My only hope is we get some color choices on interiors for this car.

Either way, it's very cloth like, and I don't like it for a luxury type vehicle.well i know first hand what alcantara is since that's the fabric used for the S4 Recaro seats and i can tell you that it's different from cloth... or speed cloth which is what used to be used for the B6 S-line seats...
alcantara vs. speed cloth:

having gone from leather to speed cloth to alcantara, if i was to redo it again i would still chose alcantara.
