Shipping 19" + Tires Set Method?

I'm try to plan the most cost effective yet most secure way of shipping set of 19" rims w/ tires. From what I've gathered on the net, most people put (2) in each 26x26x26 box via UPS.
Problem: I can't find a place that carries a 26x26x26 box, not even the UPS stores. I have found places that do carry 24x24x24 which I don't if they fit.

I've also heard about the tirerack which doesn't require boxes but just cardboard on the sides and wrapping it up.
Problem: Is this safe? I'm afraid the sides of the rims might get damaged.


Anyone have any suggestions? Advice?

We use packing on both sides of the wheels, and [B]THICK cardboard on each side, that goes up passed the side walls almost to the tread face. Plastic banding is used to secure the two sides in place. If done right, this will be better than any box.
