oil change

So I decided to change my own oil the other night. I was actually surprised how easy it was. The only annoying part was putting back the plastic protective covering under the car.

pulled plastic part off, drained oil, took oil filter off....ran some oil through to get the gunk out....put new filter on, new plug and washer, filled her up with some Mobil 1. done.

Nice, one of these days I will end up doing it myself... so far the dealear is charging me 30 bucks for an oil, filter and oil plug change. Not a bad deal i think.

Holy crap...that is cheaper than doing it yourself! Are they using synthetic?

Im not quite sure which brand but I do know they use 0-40 oil. I will have to go check.

thats one hell of a deal. when i was using M1 i paid for 30 just for the oil. now my oil alone costs 65 bucks.

Sounds like dino oil, not synthetic. Unless he's got homey hook-ups. hehe
Changing oil on an S4 is a cinch. Everyone should be able to do it themselves.
