I have returned to the S4 world!
Had a bit of a problem with an accident that wasn't my fault but ended up totaling my 2001 Nogaro S4.
Well I just picked up a new 2000 Silver S4 with a bit over 70k miles on it. I love the thing to death.
It's a stage 3- S4 and mods on the car are:
K04 Turbos Giac X-chip ver. 8, 5 Bar Fuel Pressure Regulator, LaBree Downpipes,
Neupseed G2 catback, AMS Throttle Body Boot,
Samco F-hose, 710N Diverter Valves,
APR Snub Mount, Neuspeed Rear Swaybar,
H&R Street Coilovers,
Center vent custom Boost Gauge, Toy Guy short shifter,
Aluminum Rob Knob II
The car feels exactly like the S4 should have from the factory, just everything I've wanted in a car and more.
Ride height right now is 25" front 24.5" rear because of the increased weight on the front of the car due to the engine.
And now pictures:

Got it from a guy on AW that was looking to unload the car for a down payment on a house. He's located down in Alexandria VA.
The thing is such a sleeper, I love it.
And I paid $24.5k for the car plus the replaced stock components minus the stock turbos and stockexhaust.

Yep, I'm him.
The car has a temp tag on it so it's not fully registered but yea it was pretty darn quick. I basically had to get a loan from my parents though as I can't send in the title from the old car because I want to swap the tags and there's a lien on this car so I don't have the title. I don't have the money from the previous car but it will come as soon as I send the insurance company the title.
Everything is pretty settled now, just a measure of registration and cash tranfer.

I'll admit with this one I like the silver better because it is stage 3-. With a Nogaro S4 like this the cops would be all over me. At least now it's a bit of a q ship. Though I miss not being able to spot it really quickly in a parking lot.

I must admit, I like black as much as I do silver, however I'm so anal about car car black just wouldn't do it as my life would be spent cleaning the thing.
I think silver just works for the car. It's like my little secret. I see a lot of silver Audi's but I like knowing that I'm the only one around here that could waste an m3, whereas to the common person who doesn't know the S4 it's just another silver Audi albeit a loud one.
Basically the way I looked at it was if I driving a stock S4 then I'm fine with the car standing out like my previous Nogaro (RIP), however being stage 3- I really like the sleeper aspect but because of the exhaust and dp's you get a good hint at what's under the hood.

do you have K04 specific software from GIAC? or is it just the x-chip for the k03? What about RS4 plumbing and intercoolers? What kind of power do you think its producing right now? 370? (wild guess)

I don't have K04 specific software just the X chip version 8, the car is plenty powerful enough and it works fine for me right now. Stock intercoolers but they've been strengthened by Induktion when they did the K04 install so they can hold the boost, only problem is heat soak. The plumbing is all modified to work with the setup. It also has an MBC because the K04's with the X chip hold about 17 psi pretty much all the way to redline instead of tapering off like the K03's.
THe car has never been dynoed but a similar car on AW was dynoed at AWE and found to have about 400 hp 420 ft/lbs of torque at the crank though that car had piggie pipes so I'm guessing it's just a bit more powerful than that.

Stock clutch for now though that's my next major upgrade.
I'd never driven a manual S4 prior to this one as my old S4 was a tip and I learned to drive stick in a Maxima so I figured a stock clutch would make it easier to get used to the car and since I have some money coming from the accident (not my fault) then I have some cash for upgrades.
The thing is fast as hell and the clutch seems perfectly fine, I just won't launch the car really hard. Then again it is Stage 3 so I don't really have to do hard launches to be fast.
I already absolutely killed a 330i with a few mods. For some reason he wanted to race after I showed the car to him. The owner was a friend of a friend and I've heard he's not very bright so that could account for it. I basically did a 2k launch up a slight hill got up to third and slowed. By that point he was so far behind it didn't even look like a race.
The car is just so yum.
