I believe it. When I moved over from the Eastern side of the state my house payment doubled and my yard is 1/6th of what I had in Spokane. If you aren't in high tech jobs you get the shaft over here. Unemployed people don't have it sooo good either.
On the lighter side, I did make $70K off the sale of our house after being here for 5 years. Couldn't do that in Spokane. [:)]

Someone needs to pop the balloon of housing prices.....they have been drifting away from reality for quite some time now.

I think there are a few inner city areas that could make it on this list............Manhattan( NY), Irvine (CA) just to name a few.

Getting back to goofin' on Spokane, I remember when Hassmeister was single and had money...(that was before the K04, FMIC, etc...)

Anyway, the definition of a Spokane virgin is a unmarried 20 year old with 2 kids by 2 different men and she doesn't get child support!!!
