I'm possibly pursuing another car through a dealer. Was wondering if anyone may be interested in my car on a trade in swap where we pre-establish the price for you. We believe it's a 2001 Celebration Edition 1.8T. It has everything on it possible including RS4 factory 17" wheels. 5-spd manual tranny, silver on black leather, etc, etc. There's 90,000 km on it right now. Everything is factory stock. No modifications have been done to the car. Car is pretty much mint. I also have a set of 16" non-sport 5 spoke wheels to throw into the deal for snow tires.

Email me.......... we can talk about price. I'm in the Markham, Ontario area.

If I keep the car, I'll be using them for snows. IF the car goes and whomever doesn't want them, I'll get back to you.

Has the control arms and timing belt been replaced?

I'd be surprised if the control arms have been, its an 01. Do they have the same issues, thought it only was specific years...am I completely wrong on that?

I thought all B5's had this problem.

All B5s have that problem but earlier ones were more prone. I have a 2001.5 model and no problems with the control arms mind you not even 50k on it right now.
