MTM just announced a new fitment of their 21x10,5 Bimoto for the B8 A5/S5. Unlike the existing models, this car has a 72mm center bore so the standard Audi wheel fitments don't work without an adapter.

They are also releasing a 380mm 8-piston Brembo kit.

simply because it's not tooo sport haha, but seriously hasnt MTM always been highly priced and overweight even with their 19s I cant imagine the weight on the 21s

My thoughts excatly....for that matter why would I want 21" on ANY car?
Even stock 19" are too big for me. I would prefer if the car came with 18".

Those 21's are gonna weigh a ton. MTM is notorious for great quality wheels that weigh insane amounts.
They don't look too shabby though

We have a set here and I'm happy to say they weight a scant 40# each. ;)

40lbs each? WOW...[confused] Add tires and you are looking at 65-70lbs each. Surprised that MTM would go that route as it's far too heavy (and too large) for a performance vehicle. They'd work great on an SUV though...

Wow, 21 inches. For pure looks I think 20s would fill the fenders just fine.
Why did they switch to a 72mm bore? What other cars share that bolt pattern? There must be others since tirerack already lists quite a few wheel options.
Edit: I just realized I was confusing the bore with the bolt pattern which is still 5x112, so nevermind.

Actually they are only 10mm larger than they used to be (previously 57.1mm) The new size is 67.1mm (not 72mm). This change started with the introduction of the A5/S5 B8 models

The factory Bentley wheels are 70# each at 19", so it's really not that bad. MTM does make a 19" wheel for these cars too, but I just didn't mention them...

They make the same wheel in 5x130 for the Touareg/Q7/Cayenne.

Okay, good to know. The Audi rep at SEMA told me they were the same as the MB bore, so thanks for the correction!

FYI, Bentley's come with a lot more torque and horsepower from the factory. The Flying Spur is a twin turbo V12.

Thanks for the FYI Steve. The Continental GT is also a TT V12, but my point was that a 21" wheel/tire combo that weighs 70# is not that bad when you consider some of the other setups out there.
We've had several Bentley (Conti and FS) wheels sets come through and they are all in that weight range for 19" and 20" wheels. Addt'l strength aside, I'm only trying to say that it's not as heavy as some people might think...
