Ok, so I'm from New England and the roads here are absolute crap! Some of the bad roads are unaviodable and it seems to realy shake my car up quite a bit. I try to avoid everything I can but some things are inevitable. Anyways, Im just curious to see who else is on bad roads and how your S4 is holding up.
Like they say in New England: "There's only 2 seasons. Winter, and road construction."

F winter. buying a Jeep. My B6 A4 held up great, more like unbelievable up here. Id love to drive the S in the winter, but rock chips and my commute are a bitch. If your using it for year round, have fun when the snow drops.
yes the roads mostly suck, just gotta be alert. Ive bent one wheel... destroyed the protective plastics underneith numorous times, but all in all. Ive owned 3 Audis in NE.. all held up pretty damn good.

They are shitty, and they get worse as soon as the snow comes, because that means the plows hit the streets and chew up the road even more.
then again those roads aren't much better than Jersey or the streets of philly.
I managed to bend 3 avus wheels and crack another on these streets.

Get some beefy winter tires and play dodgem...
Look at it this way, at least our rides are solid & rigid, better than weak & loosy.

Come to NY.....lol....then talk about bad roads ;)
im on OEM wheels with PSS9s on the middle setting and its not soo bad. I plan my driving down the best roads, avoid potholes at any cost and def do not drive aggresive when raining.
so far so good...I have hit a few construction cut-away sections and manhole covers that are lower than the road by 2" or so and no problems to date. These OEM wheels seem to hold up nicely. If I had 19's thou...might be a different story.
