Just picked up a 1983 Ur Quattro and would like to hear any of your recommendations for repair shops and mechanics in or around San Jose.

Hope you are ok after the earthquake last night...

unfortunately, i'm not familiar w/ any of the shops in SJ, but if you go to the regional forums and ask you might get some feedback...

Thanks Brian.....Soon as I figure out how to place pix in the thread, instead of a link, I'll post up.

Found this car in an ebay auction, actually....I held the winning bid, but the reserve was not met....After the auction ended I emailed the owner and asked if he would be interested in discussing sale terms and he did. So I flew up to Portland paid the man and drove it back to SJ. The car handled those mountains like a champ!!

Yeah that was a pretty good jolt....good reminder from mother earth
