Nice looking car! I really miss my '87 8 valve GTI. Had that car for 10 years!
Mod list:
Everything from Neuspeed's catalog made for that car(full suspension, cam, exhaust,etc...)
Full BBS body kit (very rare)
15x7BBS RS001s (in platinum) & 16x7 TSW EVOs
Euro Lights
Euro Bumpers
Tresser Smoked Tail Lights
Recaros from a 2.0 16valve
Tons of other stuff.......
Everytime I see an A2, I regrett ever selling my GTI!

Okay Patrick, more performance for the money definately. And if I was forced to choose between the two, I'd probably get the CQ over the GTi, and I do loves the GTi's.
Hell if I had $7k sitting around (and the extra garage space), I'd get both! [eek] (Quick peek into the deepest darkest reccesses of my psyche) This is why I have so damn many cars. I love them all!
