My S4 dominating it an Autocross

So my school (UTI) put on an autox this past weekend. The classes were based on engine size and drivetrain. Under 2500cc rwd, fwd over 2500cc rwd, fwd and AWD. Through all the hondas, 240SXs and 350zs the best of them were running high 30 sec times. my competition consisted of 1 STI who ran a 28.6, an EVO 9 who ran a 28.8 and nothing else worth mentioning.

hitting 1 cone equated to 1 full second penalty, that being said my best time around the track was a 28.065, unfortunatly i hit a cone dropping it to 29.

my best legal time was a 28.443 which held strong all day, ending in a victory for me and my S!! not only did i win my class, i had the fastest time all day!!

nice runs and good times. i havent autocrossed my s4 yet but ive done countless events in my previous cars along with a lot of track events in and around my surrounding areas. its very addicting, safe, and fun. i recommend it to everyone to at least try.

I never really got into auto X. Its just alot of abuse on the whole car, engine/drivetrain/suspension/tires. I would much rather be on a full track and be able to stretch my legs with a S4, looks like fun though. How much runs did you get to make?

I used to auto-x a little. I ran in the stock class and i sucked big time. I'm glad to hear an S4 beat an sti and an evo. Good job man.

and i just saw today that my left front, almost new tire, is destroyed due to the 2 right hand U turns..
