After I was finally able to wash the ashes and soot off of my car today (and then watched as more ash and soot collected on the trunk), I took a few pics....let me know what you guys think of the new daily driver:

PS. Don't mind the little guy, he just washes the cars [:)]

everything's nice. except that "BITURBO" badge. makes the rearend much to busy.. and the "S" badge should be enough for letting people know what the car has.. if they don't, then they will soon find out

That's what I've been thinking...I've had the black badges and the biturbo badge on for about a week now, and have been trying to decide if it's going to stay. I didn't want to go down the beaten path of the Porsche "turbo" badge, so I scored that Biturbo badge from work off of an S65 AMG...

I have found, though, that the biturbo badge has resulted in 10x more cars wanting to race. It used to be M3's, Evo's and such that would want to race maybe once a week or so...now I've got S2K's, Preludes, C55's, everything under the sun trying to rev on me almost every day

The emblems weren't all that hard to do. I bought another set of rings and the S4 badge from Penske last Saturday (great service btw!), and had the biturbo badge from my job. I took them home, handsanded them with 400 grit for a while, then started the tape off. That was the hardest part (besides removing the old emblems from the trunk), taping off the red from the S. After doing that, I sprayed them with two coats of black Krylon Rust Tough Primer, then after that dried I sprayed them with three coats of Krylon Interior-Exterior Ultra-Flat Black. I think if I had sanded the badges a little more before primering, they would have turned out perfect.

PS. Using the G as my daily has made me almost not want to drive the S4 anymore. The interior is insane in that thing!! But then I drive the S and the feeling of my stomach hitting the back of my seat reminds me why I still have it
