i've actually watched the episode. that portion of the episode is actually on the R8 forums..
but if you look at the video, all signs point to the Porcshe going faster..
in that GIF, that wasn't even the point when they were racing. it was when Richard introduces the 997 into the show

yeah... i also heard that the one that they stopped testing because it blew up they are testing again LOL! but i do love the car and the little engine compartment light in the back... so sex..

what pisses me off is audi built a "supercar" and didnt make it fast enough to outperform a carrera 4s. (because of the gallardo)
fuk that make the R8 the fastest and the gallardo takes second place

Audi owns Lamborghini. If the gallardo was built to compete against the 4S then thats where it ends. Why would they waste their money building another car in that class to compete with itself?

Might i start off by saying i love that show....
If you have seen it before this, you would know how amazing it is that Clarkson gave it a "perfect" review. He usually saves that sort of response for Ferraris...
A biturbo v8 would be great in the r8, it would add to the already spaceship-like qualities of the car.. Instead of just looking the part, it would be as fast as one and sound like one with that tell-tale turbo orgasm sound....
