Bay Area Peeps, where do you get your rims refinished?
If I remember, it's Wheel Technics or something on Winchester right? Anyone got a number?

There's a place in Walnut Creek that I ended up using to fix a bent rim. They quoted me a much cheaper price *and* promised 2 day turnaround, better on both counts than what I was quoted from WT. The guy who runs it specializes in classic wheels but I think he still gets most business from working on modern alloys. Cool guy. Only thing is I can't remember the name of the place! If you're interested at all in looking this place up, I can probably dig up the name of the shop.

It's on Alpine road...really easy off of the 680 freeway. Jose is THE MAN...I have taken him 3 different sets of wheels...my last set, he didn't even charge me because he didn't like how his "trainee" did the job though to me they were great! I tried to pay him more than what he charged me and he wouldn't even accept the money!
Also, he normally does "same day" service! Tell him that Angelo, from San Mateo County sent you and maybe he'll hook you up!

Ben - If the wheels aren't bent and you just need someone to repair road rash, give Lance Nunes @ call at MBZ of Pleasanton.
Lance is a service manager there who has a guy come out once a week to repair rims on their pre-owned lot. Lance can refer you to this guy. He repaired one of my Brabus rims for $75. Nice job too.

I have used the folks in Union City several times..for my BBS CH rim, two of my SSR Competition rims..and several stock A4 rims. They rock. $125, and it is done overnight, including mounting and balancing.

I can try to arrange it..but their pricing is really good already...compared to Wheel Techniques...the union city place is mega inexpensive.
