I'm always surprised by many reviewers attitude towards sport suspensions and sport tires.
The model reviewed is the 3.2 V6. I can't tell if it has the standdard new sport suspension, or the even lower and firmer S-line suspension.
From the B8 details, you can have an S-line with 18" or 19" wheels.
The model tested had 18".

Also, he does report that the US market will get the 2.0T and the 3.2 V6.
But, he also writes that the B8 2.0T is NOT the same 2.0T in the current B7.

"North American buyers will get to choose between two gasoline engines when the A4 goes on sale here next spring. Kicking off proceedings will be a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder. It's based on Audi's new EA888 power plant and will feature Audi's latest direct fuel injection and variable valve timing/lift systems.
Not to be confused with the existing EA113 designated turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder found in various Audi models, the new engine is claimed to provide similar power and torque outputs to the unit it replaces, so expect around 200 horsepower and 221 pound-feet of torque with as yet unspecified improvements in fuel consumption and tailpipe emissions."

He says the new 2.0T will have "similar" power and torque, but also indicates that hp will be around 200, and torque at 221.
221 lb ft. would be an added bonus. And, if the new 2.0T FSI has the Euro 1.8T FSI valve improvements, that added torque could come in at 500rpm sooner.
Also, the new 2.0T will have a front mount IC if the Euro spec's are correct in that "all" turbo engines will have a FMIC mounted low and in front of the radiator.

Sounds like the new 2.0T is the existing 2.0T with Valve-Lift technology added.

The new 2.0T is already producing 220hp and 220 tq in Europe, it's sold already in the last year B7 overthere. Probably we will get the same *new* engine, just the current 2.0TFSI with valve lift and a little more hp.

not bad, so far it seems like it's getting a fairly positive reception minus a few small things. im kind of unsure as to why they said they were " looking forward to a real opportunity to measure its 'goodness'." seems like they've already made up their minds that the car isn't "great"...or maybe they'll underestimate it enough that they'll be pleasantly surprised.

the "newer" 2.0T is rated at 211hp. 11hp more, thats good
