well usually i dont show to much hate towards cops because i know if somethin ever happened where i needed their help i wouldnt be sayin how much i hate them etc. anyway the other night me and my cousin were takin a cruise and it was on a 2 lane road with a divider down the middle. i saw a cop with someone pulled over on the other side of the road and didnt think much of it at the time. well about 5 mins later on the way back i was coming down the side where that cop was, my cousin reminded me that he was there so i slowed down from about 45 to 35 (speed limit 40) well as i com around the corner there he is still sittin there, when im about 100 feet behind him radar goes off, and as soon as i pass him the lights come on and he pulls me over. [confused] well obv i didtn know why he was pullin me over, and when i asked him why he said he got me on radar going 58 in a 40 [mad] i honestly wanted to laugh and be like your kidding me right? but he was dead serious. i explained to him how i knew he was there i had just seen him how my radar didnt go off till i was right behind him. anyway he was bein a dick and had no reason to pull me over other than bein an asshole.

oh and a couple more htings i forgot to add, i was coming from a red light.. and to get to 60 i woulda had to been drag racing all the way to the point where he supposedly clocked me..... and right after i pulled away after gettin the ticket he flew by me with his lights on and pulled over a mini van with an older lady in it. so 3 tickets in 10 minutes. hmmm

i got stopped and written up for going 50 in a 30...except for that i was in a 40.

there is absolutely NOTHING you can do at the time you're pulled over...at the complete mercy of the officer.

i am going to bring a video to the judge showing the road, where i was stopped, and the speed limit signs.

the first thing the cop said to me when she stopped me was,

"Nice car. Speeds real well."

I got a ticket one time doing a 93 in 65 zone. Clearly I'm at fault but the funny thing about the ticket was my buddy in an STi was behind me doing the exact same speed. Literally, he was in the car behind me and the cop goes around him to pull me over. My car was at stock height and on stock wheels at the time. I was blown away that he chose me over my buddies Subbie. Video camera's in the car would be a good idea.

I went to court with a Google Map print out that showed I was literally 1/8 mile away from my house and all they did was reduce it to a slower ticket...still got my license restricted because in NY, 3 tickets in 18 months = license restriction. And I was about 2 weeks from being clear....and then got fucked by some asshole cop when I wasn't even breaking the law...he was just filling the quota.

I guess I'm the lucky one, because i was going 85 in a 65 and i passed a cop. I knew i was going to get pulled over. He pulled me over and asked me how fast i was going, i told him 85 but he said he got at 82. He reduced the ticket to 72 because i was being pretty honest, he was a pretty cool and nice cop. I still got my license suspended.

I can beat these. I removed my lisence plate bracket when waxing the bumper and lost the bolts. so I went to my mechanics place cuz I knew hed give me the bolts for free. So, I pull in the mechs parking lot and a stealth cruiser pulls in behind me with the lights on. Gives me a ticket for improper display of front plate. Me, my GF and my mech all back up the story that I was there to pick up the bolts to mount the bracket/plate again and he tells me to take it to court. I got pulled over last night after speeding through a parking lot. I have a provisional license and I had someone under 21 in my car. Right before I pulled over I had her get in the trunk so he didnt see her. My window was broken so I had to get out of my car. He asked me why I was speeding, asked if i had drugs or alcohol,asked me why i was where i was, asked me why there's a girls bag in my passenger seat. Asked me everything. I made up perfect lies to everything and he let me off with a warning. Yay! He was pretty nice though. I didnt evne get a tint ticket.

What would have happened, at least in Wisconsin, is the cop would have called for another cruiser and they would have knocked on your door and came in... If they see a suspect for anything go into a house or somewhere, no matter where, they are allowed to follow and enter w/o a search warrant. It's complete bullshit, but it's true.
In July when i got the car, i didnt have a front license plate on, b/c it was a new bumper with no bracket, and I saw so many damn pigs in those 3 weeks without the plate, but never got pulled over. how can the cop give you a ticket if you're having the plate put back on? or was he folowing you beforehand?

I was actually thinking about it. After I got my ticket, this PIG sat at the same location right near my house for a good week pulling people over left and right, lining them up on a private road to a development.

However, one day he had a d-bag motorcycle pig because I guess some just took off....and the cop aint gonna chase after you when he already has 10 people pulled over waiting for tickets (they'd just leave).

I honestly didn't even know I was getting pulled over for speeding until a few minutes after I parked.

....I asked to see the number on the radar gun because I knew he was full of shit since he pulled three of us over at the same time on a single lane road... he said "I didn't have to show you shit". Very professional. Asshole.

The kicker is I got the highest speed and I was inbetween the two cars. I know this because I asked the other two that had gotten pulled over their speeds. Told the pig "I'll see you in court".

I got pulled over in Hawaii with my Cobra KN 1 year ago, the cop said that I was doing 48 in a 25 which I was not because I had just come out of the gates of a military base. I sent my not-guilty plea along with a crazy intelligent letter stating that the officer wrote down my speed where it said "actual speed" but I noticed that he did initial the box which stated "This radar gun has been tested and it is in proper working order" I wrote that to the judge and a week later I got my case dismissed letter from him. I can definetly help you get out of this one. Every ticket has a loophole or else traffic lawyers would have no job.

that’s a yes and a no it depends on the cop and what gun he is using. Most that sit on the side of the road not pointing a gun estimate a fast car or a fast going car and quickly get behind it so that the dash radar records speed and the only way to see that is to go into the cops car. The laser radar guns are shitty because he could of clocked any car and claim that it was yours.

1st. The best thing to do is be nice and respectful at the time of the pull over. (ill tell you why in a sec)


2nd.Examine your ticket thoroughly. See if the officer forgot any check marks any important information

3rd. If you have the time ALWAYS send out a not-guilty plea even if you don’t have a case the judge or prosecutors usually lower the sentence.
If you have a case send your explanation with the ticket and state that you want the officer present at the time of you hearing.

4th. Now if you were nice and respectful to the officer he wont remember you and wont bother to show up which most of them don’t. If you were a dick to him he will take it personal and make sure to show up which is a guarantee loss for you cause his lingo is way better than most people.

I got pulled over once on the service drive were a car speed off the eway onto the service drive and turned.. 1/2 mile later around 180 degree turn i get pulled over for going 68 in a 35... I explained he had the other car on radar not me because i was dead stop at a light when the other car flew up the ramp, i then asked how you radar me around a turn were you cant even see, his only reply was i herd you speeding that's all i need, after arguing for 5 minutes with this asshole i gave up he wouldn't show me any proof because it was b.s... i drove straight to the police station to file a complaint and they wouldn't give me the paper work to write the complaint... i had my girlfriend in the car to witness the whole thing she was completely shocked that this happened...

I got pulled over years ago for turning in the inside lane to the last lane even tho i went straight across.. 1/2 mile later i get pulled over on the street i live, speed limit 25mph the road she came off was 55mph remember im over 1/2 mile away going less then half the speed of her. I asked how she witness this at 2a.m in the dark through a row of 30 foot tall pine trees and over a 1/2 mile+ away. That question got me 5 other tickets little b.s tickets 1 was having a clear license plate cover another was something hanging from my mirror.. i went to court and explained my case she then had her turn and told the judge she was behind me the whole time which was a complete lie... a guy i worked with got his son off of a speeding ticket. he just threw question after question that the cop wasnt prepared to answer.

1) ask the last date that a tuning fork was used on the radar and the scores for which it received. State of Connecticut v. Tomanelli (1966) concluded that tuning forks must be used

2) ask when its calibration expiration date is

3) go to http://www.jesbeard.com/s16.htm and throw in previous questions from older court cases.

4) If the cop replies by saying that your questions are irrelevant or unimportant, reply by saying something around the lines as to "how, considering that the only way that you measured my speed was from radar. after all in State of Florida v. Aquilera (1979), a palm tree was clocked doing 86. the officer himself must state that with his sense of judgement you were speeding .

About a month ago I realized why people dont trust police. I was in an accident on 495 in maryland and this was the first accident I had ever been in. It was clearly the other guys fault. He cut into my lane and knocked into me and made me lose control and spin around 180 and then get hit again. A witness to the accident came back to the scene. The police arrived and talked to the witness got his statement got my statement then wrote me a ticket. I asked why I was getting a ticket for the accident. He told me everyone in an accident receives a ticket whether it was your fault or not (I now know is BULLSHIT). I believed him. The ticket was for Reckless driving and Failure to control speed to avoid a collision wtf. I had to be somewhere so I left after this.

Two days later I go to pick up the police report. It says that the accident was my fault. That the other guy got zero tickets and the diagram showed me slamming into him. I spoke to the officer and asked him why he didnt use the witnesses statement. He said that he never received a statment from the witness, which is bullshit I watched and listened to this happen at the scene. They made there own story up because Im 20 and have a fast audi so it had to be my fault bullshit. ILL SEE THEM IN COURT.
