How many miles do you have on your car?
I just wanted to see how many miles people have on the OD and any major issues they have seen. . . . .

I've just rolled over 98k some of the stuff I've had to do:
Turbos
Valve cover gaskets
MAF
DV's
Cam Seals
Cam tensioner seals
Timing Belt, water pump etc.. (my Thermostat crapped out)
Tie Rod ends
CV boots (outer)
Auto Dimming mirror
I'd be broke if I didn't do all the work myself. I don't understand how anyone that doesn't know how to wrench can own a B5 S4.
Next summer I'm planning on doing all the control arms, wheel bearings, and some PSS9's

Yeah, I do now (~7,700 since I bought her in Dec. '06), but owner #1 was never state-side so it was garage kept all the time. That's prolly why it's having issues here & there...

coolant resevior
tbb (twice before samco)
maf (twice so far, and needs to be changed now again)
dv's

also 1 of my bearings is bad now
think thats about it, but currently there's a horrible squeeking noise coming from the front end everytime i hit a bump, no matter how small the bump. Could that b my tie rods?

85k bought it with just under 50k
Only problems that I've had with the car are the front wheel bearings, about to do tie rods, turbos were close when I replaced them, but still fine. Valve cover gaskets, cam tensioner seals, inner CV boots up front, aux water pump and all of those I'd consider general maintenance stuff that goes out on most cars.
That's really it. Everything else I've done has been preventative or upgrade for performance reasons.
AWE stage 3
Piggies
Borla cat-back
Zoldman O2's
Samco TBB
RS4 clutch

I bought my car w/ around 75k miles on it, it might have 76K on it now
Since I have bought it
Refurbished tiptronic transmission
New OEM torque converter
cv boots
Lower control arm
Tie rod ends
Valve cover gaskets
Cam seals
Timing belt job w/ new water pump (etc. in a t-belt kit)
OEM MAF
OEM T-Body
Hmm im sure I am forgetting some stuff but all in all it cost around
$8000.00-$9000.00
My car is still in the shop getting fixed I have owned it for over 3 months and have only actually had it in my possession for maybe 9-12 days and less than a thousand miles of me driving it.
