Join the Texas Audi Group at the track on November 10th and 11th in Bryan College Station. Texas World Speedway is a 2.9 mile closed circuit.

Drivers will be grouped into run groups of similarly skilled drivers and you will have an instructor in the car with you AT ALL TIMES. Passing is restricted to preset passing zones and can only occur if the car being passed has given the proper hand signals. No passing in the corners. This isn't a race guys, its a high speed driving school. You drive at your own pace and you are always in control. Nothing is timed. A helmet is mandatory.

295 dollars for both days and that includes about 160 minutes of on track time. Almost 3 hours! That'll tire you out.

s6sputnik - great idea.[up] I did one of these back in 2003 and theDriversEdge is top notch. They have great instructors, who know their stuff and TWS is a great track. The whether in November should be great, especially for you turbo guys and with Quattro rain will only add to the fun.

The way they organize the run groups will provide a lot of track time. You will be exhausted after each day.

TheDriversEdge offers a group discount for car clubs of 10% for the first 10 to register from the club (dropping the fee to $265). Have you spoken with Rick about it? Group details are on the site - http://www.thedriversedge.net/06_discount.htm

We should get the word out on some of the other TX Audi oriented forums. There should be enough of us out there that are interested in enjoying our cars to make this a fun weekend.

We are doing it as a group through www.texasaudigroup.com so that includes a 10% discount :) .

In my Midwest past I was an instructor for ACNAMI and the MI Cobra club so I know all about getting tired :)

You are right about the weather, my turbo appreciates -10 degree days, but with some luck it will be in the 70's not 90's [hail]

I used to spank the Mustang guys in the Cobra club in the rain...but when it dried out [headbang] I got whooped.

So are you coming out? Several fast TT's, my UrS6, Bufkins Rally Car, Pribble's S2 might make it if they get the windsheild replaced in time. all in all more than 10 Austin Audi's and I think some lads from Dallas and Houston as well should be good.
