ATP dyno Friday afternoon (7/30). Anyone else wanna go?

Anyone else wanna go?

If it's only ~3 cars, (myself, Ed, maybe Mike), we can start around 3 pm. Any more, we have to start around 1pm.

damn i'm not old enough to take off work early... you know most compnaies now they let those old employees take off half day friday so they can rest... [:D]

hey eugene i think i can make it...haven't dyno'd my car since that last dyno day @ ATP back in 2002

have an old video of your run that day. oil...we don't need to stinking oil to feed the turbo!! [;)]

Haha, thanks for the link. I almost forgot about that run and when they turn on the blinkers after the turbo made a horrible screech. Hmmm lack of oil may have had something to do with it [:D]

Let me know for sure by tomorrow. I need to make sure we have enough time for all cars. Right now, it's looking like we'll start at 3pm.

Supposedly it's $65 for 2WD, $85 for 4WD. I'll try to swing a lower price if there is more of us.

Wow, that's pretty high. If you want to haggle with them, our school car club had a dyno day with them and I think it was $50 for 2wd and 65 for 4wd. Maybe they'll give you guys the same price? I think this was for 3 runs as well...

I'll bring the A4 out- just let me know what time. It needs some minor maintenance stuff done, but it's got fresh oil and a new filter. Then we can check to see if Edwin's car is good to go for 1.8 challenge. Let me know if you want my a4 set on 91 octane or 100 octane for baseline.

Chard, would you be interested in bringing out your brother's car as well?

set it for 100 Octane...I just filled up with some last nite, then we can compare numbers with my tired old 145K motor.

Sounds good, I just have to get rid of the craptane in the tank right now. Oh well, will have the Racing Hart CP-035's on for tomorrow, as Noel told me that his new track tires need some "heat cycling". So what time should we meet up there? 1pm? Lunch beforehand?

i won't be able to run on the dyno...i was hoping to do a few things to the car today before getting dyno'd but ran out of time. i'll stop by though. you guys are still starting around 3?

I'm doing it again after get some custom exhaust work on the TT. This is just to get my baseline numbers.

I'll go back to modding the A4 and dynoing again probably late Sept, Oct.
