I guess that makes sense, considering the A4 3.2 starts at $36,300 and the S4 starts at $48,610
cool, sounds reasonable. The problem is when you go to a dealer you can't get the A5 for less than $45K in options. It is very hard to find a model close to the base price.

I was just messing around online when I saw this, man, so good to hear it won't be the 60k that people thought before. And $850 for B&O? Nice

The article didn't mention anything about the 2.0T version release... Is that even a plan?? I wonder if it's a pricing issue. Since 3.2 FSI V6 will be starting at 39.9k, they'll probably have to sell the 2.0T for less than that and it will start to compete against the upcoming B8 A4's.
If there's 2008/9 A5 2.0T for 36-7k, that'd be my next car.

In the US, I don't think they are releasing an A5 with the 2.0T engine, Similarly how BMW has the 6 series with only V8 engines and up (5 series comes in Inline 6's and up)

No announced plans for A5 2.0T in North America, although people seems to think that it'll be available maybe a year or so after launch.
