evom intake help.... noobie installer

yea.. i know i suck LOL

ok.. so i decided to install my recently purchased EVOM intake. a few questions but maybe i just dont have the right tooks... but how do u take off the MAF sensor connection? the thing thats under the little "witch hat like" rubber. there seems to be 2 release connections on the ends, but i cant get it off...
also, its freakin hot so i sorta gave up lol... and put the stock intake back in without fully securing all four corner of the intake box, is that ok to drive a day or so?


if you know any audi or european tuner shops in sacramento area... let me know.... thanks.

you need tamper-proof torx keys you can pick them up from your local autoparts store iirc its a t15 torx size.. as for the release from the maf sensor harness you just have to take your finger and try and push it down it can be kinda awkward to position your arm but you just have to work with it.... do not use a screwdriver because you will most likely break it.
