I miss my lighted/useful armrest from my B7. Is it possible to upgrade my b6 to the same? How much would it run me to get one? I never use the useless cupholders and need the storage space. Most of all i miss that light. :(

From ETKA:

Part Number: 8E0 971 196, Description: 'harness with light emitting for shelf-lighting in center armrest'

You may be able to simply remove the cupholder insert and retrofit the light, since the B6 and B7 have essentially the same armrest. If not, here are the part numbers for the base of the B7 armrest and top hinged portion:

Part Number: 8E0 864 207 D XXX, Description: 'armrest (lower part)' -- should also include the light according to ETKA, but not positive
Where XXX = interior color, and: EC3 = platinum-light (grey), 4D9 = indigo, 6PS = sabre (black), 8C1 = torrone (beige)

Part Number: 8E0 864 245 AE XXX -OR- 8E0 864 245 T XXX, Description: 'armrest (upper part), leather' -- part number will be diff. if you have cloth or the nappa leather in the S4
Where XXX=interior color, and: 1HT = sabre (black), 1LW = indigo, 1MX = platinum-light (gray), 1NY = torrone (beige)

Hope this helps.

If it didn't look so wierd without it I'd just give you mine. I never use it since I can't engage the parking brake when it's all the way down so I just leave it up.

No prices, sorry. You'll either have to talk to greg (400HPA4) or your dealer with the part numbers I posted for pricing.
