Talked to David today and he is willing to come over to Bay Area and do some custom chip tuning.
This of course requires purchase of the software(Dave flashes the existing OEM chip) from Ecode, but the tuning is for free(this ensures max power from the chip with no detonation and so on).
We need to get 5+ people to sign up, but you have to be 120% sure cuz I dont wanna bring the guy all the way over here for ten cars and then only one car show up for tuning.
If you wanna sign up email me at zemun2@yahoo.com

My uncle owns a shop so were probabaly gonna do it there, that's if it's weekdays though.
Since it's flashing method you dont even need a shop, and for boost and timing adjustments it's done on the fly.

True, don't need a shop. Figured he may be doing it at another Revo dealer's shop though. Either way, I'll be there on mod day.

If we can book a dyno then I guess it will be dyno tuning.
If not then it's gonna have to be VAG-COM tuning only.

You can rent out the dyno from us for a day. Email sales@vishnutuning.com Or call 925-924-9800.
Its 1500 to rent the dyno for a full day. That includes the staff to run the dyno, and tuning tips from myself. =)

Dyno Dynamics. Its probably one of the best tuning dynos on the market. It graphs in real time, and the load, and ramp up speed can be adjusted. Its actualy the only dyno that 911s can be dynoed on without pulling the front driveshafts. Sport Compact car wrote a good article about dynos last month. They said if they had to pick, the dyno dynamics would be their choice.

So how much does it cost for someone to run their car on the dyno? I might be down for one run to see what small numbers im putting down. [;)]

Will David tune for cars already equipped with REVO or would we have to purchase something else from eurocode?

Yeah, I read that article too.. in my opinion, everyone here should read it.
Good info man. It's too bad Shiv doesn't like slow cars though.. [:D]
I'll probably call you sometime soon or another to see if we can setup a dyno day for some of the locals. I know a few of us are wanting to do one for baseline before we start adding some serious power (well - moderate when compared to those damn Evos)
