RaceTec is near the final release for the B7 FMIC. The original RaceTec version has been tweaked a little since it originally came out. Like the original design, no cutting will be necessary to install this unit. It will come with RaceTec's latest core design called the Street Dominator. You can see by the picture, the Street Dominator core is a Bar/Plate Design with large running channels for maximum flow and cooling. This kit will come with all necessary hardware for install (t-bolt clamps/silicone hoses, Mounting bracket), mandrel bent piping from the turbo to the throttlebody. We will doing a few more beta test installs before it will be available. We will be offering this kit at an introductory rate of $775 for the first 10 or so peps. We expect release of this kit in about 3-4 weeks tops. If you are interested, please let us know so we can start a list [:D]

UPDATE!!!

Slowly but surely. This past weekend, Russell from RaceTec came down to our shop to personally install this B7 FMIC. As promised no cutting on the stock bumper and hard piped all the way. We are still testing this setup but the preliminary results are looking good. RaceTec removed alot of the bends found in the OEM dual side mount and reduced overall piping volume. This equates to faster throttle response, improved low end and sustained top end. We are very pleased with the new Street Dominator cores, they have very low pressure drop, great flow and cooling. Here are some pictures of the install.

We will be conducting some newer logs once we complete another FMIC install. However, RaceTec FMIC's have been logged many times on prior A4 models and with much larger turbos such as the GT2871R with great success. I will pull some of those logs. The preliminary logs with the Street Dominator cores are even better than before. I expect we should have some new logs on a chipped A4 in the next week or so.

Any progress with the chipped A4 2.0T Logs?

Could you also post some pics of the intercooler fitted with the front bumper off please.

Sorry for the delay guys. We have a B7 scheduled this week for the install so we should have some more pics and data for you real soon.
