does anyone know anything about the the dual tone horn relay for a 2000?
i'm trying to wire up some crazy stuff on my car, through the horn circuit.
the wiring diagram shows two different horns, with two different grounds (g900 and g901) but i could only locate one horn assembly in the trunk behind the disc changer bolted to the inside of the fender. where is the relay located?? its run of a 24A fuse #40, powered str8 from the battery,
if anyone knows anything about this, i'd be totally surprised,
if this little project works out, its goin to be amazing.
thanks.....

i think what you are finding is the alarm system horn that beeps when you arm the system, that is behind the cd changer... so even though it says you have 2 horns, only 1 is when the alarm goes off, the other is just the arming beep (which IMO sounds like a sick duck so i had my car VAGed to get rid of the honk when i arm it)
so if you are doing some sort of horn install, its going to be the one by the headlight, unless you want to put a different horn in for the arming noise too.

which headlight is the 'regular' horn behind.
ive found the one behind the cd changer.
do you have the wiring diagram?
i think that when the ign is in the run pos, the wire going to the regular horn is hot, and vice versa for the alarm horn.
thanks

you know, im not exactly sure, i havent really looked into it before, but i do know that the horn by your cd changer in the trunk is for the alarm, and the one by the headlight is the horn for honking and such.

There is one on both sides if I remember right. They are actually below and behind the headlights. They bolt onto the front lip of the fender. Get under your car and look up there,, you should be able to see them. But I am not absolutly positive, since I removed my front bumper before I removed the horns.
