S4 springs on my A4? Will it work???

I need some help......
I have a 98 A4 2.8 quattro (B5) and I would like to lower it. Can I install S4 (B5) springs? If so, will they lower the car and how much? This is my first Audi and I didn't know if the A4 and S4 parts were interchangable. Any help offered would be great.

What about s4 struts and s4 lowering springs on a 2.8q? Can I expect a decent drop from this set up?
