This took longer than expected. But the car's exterior is finally finished. Some members saw it at Hot Import Daze San Diego, but tonight was the first chance I got to do a quick photoshoot. Enjoy.

Looks great man!! Got to get some daytime pics.
the only thing i dont like is the black lip on the wheels. It really takes away from the visual appeal of having i nice deep stepped lip. To each his own though.
btw what are the wheels? kinesis? what size?

Damn, those are some fatty tires/rims on there!!

Yeah that wide body is special ,which kit is that?......i cant find any place here that can help me with that[rolleyes] . In the UK we only have 1 APR supplier and 1 MTM supplier that only offer performance mods no body options. Unbelievable considering it is a mainstream auto manuf. here and closer to our mecca....[:D]

Nice, I normally could care less for body kits and such on Audis,, but I really like that look. What size are the tires?
Anthony
07-21-2004, 10:32 AM
Good work, and way to take full advantage of the widebody with those fatty wheels! Goodness!
Are all four pipes in the rear functional, are is one side just for show? I'm just curious.
Would like to see that badboy in person. http://www.audizine.com/forum/images/icons/icon14.gif
was that done through M1? curious on how long the turn-around time is. email me if you prefer.
i absolutly love the black lips.
hmmm..reminds me of europrojektz's car though.
thanks.

Widebodies rock.
Body kit is a little ricey but it could be worse.
Good job overall.
YoYoCome
07-21-2004, 12:13 PM
Thanks guys for the compliments!
ROUGHEDGES:
The wheels are the Kinesis K19. I am running 19x10 all around with Yokohama AVS Sport 265/30/19. Yea, the black anodized lip does not show well for a night shoot.
XpondS4:
The car has Kerscher front bumper, Kerscher rear bumper, ABT side skirts. You can visit www.kerscher-tuning.de to see more pictures of the original parts (I had to modify mine to flow with the widebody).
Anthony:
I am not running a muffler right now, I just ran a straight pipe and Y-piped it so I can have the dual exhauts on both sides.
wnut:
Nope, it's not done through M1. The turn around time is usually about 3-4 weeks. I don't think I am running as wide Europrojektz's B6 widebody (Kenny's car), he's running on 20's!

Functional exhaust eh? nice
indica
07-21-2004, 12:36 PM
wow that widebody kits looks dope as hell!! i take it its not another RS4 conversion, the fenders look way more flared out than an RS4. was this a custom kit? abs or fiberglass... details man we need details!! lol. and i love the wheels!!
Jooce
07-21-2004, 01:54 PM
I dont dig it...
...though i will give props that it does look like a tight, clean install...
Act of God
07-21-2004, 06:42 PM
I like it, but I think the exhaust pipes are a little ricey. Too far apart, and too big (and too many tips for an S4). Besides that its really, really nice
Anthony
07-21-2004, 07:11 PM
Good to hear both sides are functional. This is just my personal opinion, but it'd look even better if you put one oval tip on each side, ala RS 6.

You know, most of the S4's I see are silver like mine. However, you never have to worry about being "another silver S4." Great job, she looks sweet!!! Those wheels are hot too! Did the wheel shop give you a crazy look when you asked for 19x10(!!!) all the way around for your S4?

Dude...
I've never seen an Audi so beautiful before (if someone has seen better, please post it, because I'm in heaven as is...)
I'll trade you my A4 for it =P
I'm confused by what custom work you had to do to the kit, but I guess that's because I really haven't done much research into kits. Absolutely amazing look though... ::drowns in his own drool::

I'm curious... I'm new to the website... so I'm not sure whether it is kosher or not to ask how much someone has spent here... (at s2ki.com... they'll tell you every chance ya get! [;)]
So... how much have you invested so far!?
Ultrasport Steve
09-16-2004, 08:17 AM
Joe, not cool to ask someone how much they spent..not cool at all.
Not, most people will just tell you that they spent a lot. You get decent response if you ask how much someone paid for X mod..you know...a specific mod..not the total package. Sometimes people get embarassed at how much they spent. :)

Nice work but, the spoiler ruins it for me.
Someone needs to create a small "drift-like" wing for our cars that adds to the existing character.
Not that it matters but, I am not a big fan of amplified body kits. I prefer smooth, suttle accents. The OEM RS4 is a good example of what I am talking about.

I myself like the S4 because it is understated. But the I am a 40 something year old. But if you are going to do the body kits and all that, yours is really nicely polished. Done very well and tastefully. Very clean, while outragous at the same time!

So im bumping this up from a while ago since I just saw it (or another TWC widebody S4) featured during a little segment of Redline, on the speed channel.
Anyone know more about this car? What its running or is it just show? Ive tried a couple searches and came up with not a whole lot. Also, does anyone have any working pictures of it, the ones posted originally aren't working (for me) anymore.
From the little they showed of it on the show it looked really nice, but I had never seen it around before...
