I would think BMW and Mercedes would be higher...and I would never have thought Lincoln would be number 1

This list just shows which dealers give the best customer service. Has nothing to do with the cars.
Hell if im paying for an Audi, then i want to be treated like one. [:D]

[:D] That's exactly what I was talking about--the DEALERS!

the reason that lincoln is at the top is that all (most) lincoln drivers are so old, that they couldn't tell the diference between good and bad service. Dealers could screw them over infront of their face and they wouldn't be able to notice.
My two cents [:)]

Makes perfect sense. The majority of Lincoln buyers are old poeple. (old poeple with retirement funds, old poeple with money). So they get treated good and the sales people talk real slow, and not pushy. Plus they offer them other senior special treatments and discounts. But most of all, the elderly are more likely to write in about good comments.
The other makes have younger bases, and young poeple - all they do is bitch and whine. Thats why you see Lexus on top and Toyota on the bottom. Plus they dont have as much money as old poeple. And most of all they are more likely to write in complaints when they dont get treated right, but never bother writing good comments when they do get treated right.
The top five badges are pretty much old poeple cars as well. [:)]

also Mercedes benz owners and BMW owners are snobby bitches that are jealous of our audi's, and they like to bitch and moan about everything. The think they deserve beyond VIP treatment. My dad is a MB owner, that's how i know. [:D]

Honestly, I had a really really poor experience with Mercedes-Benz service recently. My dad's '04 E320 went in for it's 10K check-up and I was sent to pick it up and it took me forever to get out of there. Place was a zoo and it was just substandard service and everything...
These "studies" and surveys are so misleading. Once again they don't take into account customer expectations and differences in perception in the test population. There is no distinction between casual drivers with little mechanical experience or car enthusiasts.

WOW!! That's a shock. [eek] Can't believe Honda and Toyota are in that low. Glad to see infiniti up there. [:D]
So Subaru > Nissan > Toyota > Mazda > Mitsubishi > VW.
lol.. VW rocks [rolleyes] . Flabbergasted by AUDI's numbers. [eek]

Honestly, I don't trust JD Power. The way they conduct their surveys is quite biased.

These are interesting numbers and fun to speculate about, but they realy don't mean anything about reality. Alas they do influence public opinion though, I think I'll go buy a Lincoln.

Well, they're trying to recruit a higher number of participants in the study to increase the power of their findings. If not, they wouldn't have a signficant study. They would most likely be criticized if they restricted their studies to one segment of car buyers.
As an aside, I find that BMW deserves to be where they are. Mercedes is surprising, given that I've had a great experience there.

Based on Customer Service not Quality of Vehicle!
Besides, if you bitch enough and treaten you'll get service!
It worked when I worked at Audi!

this study says ZERO about the cars, NOTHING at all, its useless. And it also says very little about customer service because of the demographics. People also rate cust serv. differently. And people arn't very subjective so you can't really ask them for their opinion on cust service, they might rate it poorly because they didn't like the represetative.
