GB Feeler for Hood Latches to go with the CF Hoods...

If any of you are like me, you just ordered or are about to order a carbon fiber hood from Eurogear. The Eurogear website (and in the hood GB thread) Eurogear recommends hood pins for the hoods. Since I personally don't like hood pins, I contacted Nick at Autobahn Exotics and inquired into hood latches like these:

In speaking with Nick, he advised that he may be able to get hood latches like the ones above. The pricing would depend on how many people commit, but he said he thought he could sell them at $70 to $85 depending on how many people want to join.

For comparison purposes, these hood latches are sold at some places for over $100. For example, Top Secret has these for $162 (without locks). I found some at 3Sx for $109.

hmm... i might just get these.. now are the eurogear hoods... whats the underpanel made out of.. is it fiberglass plastic or what.. cause i wanna make sure when i drill through the carbon fiber i sitll got sumtin else to drill throgh the hood i held down pretty good... also wanted to ask... anyone... where can i ge tthe hood pins put in in the new jersey area... i have no1 to go to.
