Please excuse the zip-ties on my hood/grill. I have been waiting for my flush-mount hood pins to come in. In the meantime, in addition to the OEM latch, I ran these before the trip to WF...just incase.
Some new body pieces will soon be in place as well as a trip to the dyno...stay tuned. [drive]

It didnt cost a fortune. It was not a budget build....but it was VERY reasonable. It took the guys who built it (Sleepers Performance) about 2 weeks to build the turbo system, excluding the intake manifold. The tuning turned out to be the hard part.

No...it was sitting in the Sleepers Performance booth. Those guys put soooo much heart into this build....I wanted to let them have the car for the show. I'm trying to decide where it should go to dyno....either AWE or EPL. EPL is much closer to me....but I think AWE will give me realistic numbers rather than fantasy.

OEM RS4 housings. Got them from e-bay germany...which was a mistake. They had to be mod'd to make them work/fit. They are currently using acura integra type R valve springs inside to make them stay in place/bend when they should. [:)]

Yeah your best bet would be AWE since their mustang is setup to read like a Dynojet while the mustang at EPL just seems to give way to high of whp readings.
I use a HKS EVC4. I guess it depends on what features you are looking for, but the best thing to do is get one that has just those that you want because more just makes it harder to use. I think one of the guys just posted about putting a EBC into his RS setup and seemed pretty happy with the one he used.

I want to dyno it ASAP. I'm getting a bit of bluish smoke (oil) out the exhaust after warm starts and sometimes while driving. Not too much...but enough for me to see. Its undoubtedly from the poor engine building the previous shop (whom shall remain nameless) did on my A4. I suspect that they honed the block, but then used OEM piston size, creating room for oil to get past, especially on high(er) boost levels. I really want to bang-out some numbers before we tear into the block. Even running 22PSI...its very very strong. I RAPED a supercharged R32 the other night. Not like they are very fast, but I left this guy like he was in reverse! [race]

Have you done a CR test on your car lately?
Are you using a catch can or still blowing the crank case pressure back into the intake?

Let us know how that goes. Could also be a valve seal leak causing the oil smoke you see once the car is warmed up.

Yea....it should have been done correctly the first time....but I didnt have the time to oversee the engine building. I think we might do a bored AEB block, ABA crank, and AEB head (current). Should be done before H20. (fingers crossed)

What do you think Mike? I would rather keep my block (AEB) and rods (Pauter) if possible, to save money. I know I will need new pistons. If I bored out my AEB block and used an ABA crank, wouldnt that put me at about 2008cc? Seems like a good, middle of the road build. I have been told that higher than that, you risk losing top end HP for TQ. True? I want to use this car as a DD....summer through winter. I thought keeping the AEB block would eliminate alot of custom fab work, which should retain drivability/reliability.

Depends on what size bore you use. I went with 1.8block/aba crank and 83.5mm bore to give me 2033cc which is only 1011cc smaller then what Issam is doing. Only advantage the taller deck ABA block gives you is a lower rod/crank angle.
I will make sure to post up my #'s once I put the car on a normal reading dynojet at Tuning Technology, the mustang dyno that 034 tuned my car on and got 556whp had a 30-32% chp/whp loss.
