That gray color that wasn't available in the states.
Achat Gray I think it was called.

careful i have heard a full color change to an s4 is a rather expensive task, upwards of 8-10 grand to have done correctly.

It should be expensive. I would easily pay the 10K if I was going to go to a full color change. Considering the car would have to be taken down to parts to do it right.

Blah,, not that I don't like the color. But practicly every S4 is nogaro. If your gonna do your car why pay for a factory color like everyone else has? Go with something custom. Just stay away from the orange, like that avant that was posted.[:D]

Thats pretty expensive jessy.. I would just paint the whole peice that was scraped and touch up the other things professionally

It would be very very expensive. Just think of all those little nooks and such that would need to be painted. It would basically involve tearing apart the whole car and putting it back together.
Just go to a very good paint shop and get them to do the touch up work.
But if you're bent on getting it re done I truely think Achat gray would rule. Such a sleeper color and you could easily sort out the real Audi fanatics who would flip over a color like that not available in the states.
It would be really understated and you'd certainly know you'd never see another car like yours in the same color.

The price will vary depending on if you want the "entire" car to be re-painted. I am talking about including the engine bay and inside the trunk. If you just want the exterior (including the door jams) that price will be cheaper.
I love the Achat Gray also!

Dolphin Gray would look amazing. Even though I like the Nogaro Blue on my S4, I had Dolphin Gray on my older B6 A4 and loved it.

Full body change (door jams, Trunk, ENgine bay etc) will run about 8k-10k for a GOOD job, but you can get away with like 4k-5k with just repainting your existing black but if you want a little change why not have them throw in a Pearl or a Flake into the paint that way youll have a new color but dont have to go through the entire car and youll save yourself some cash.

Definitely go custom. That blue Anthracite on the new Passat is nice.
