B7 Center Console

I have a couple of questions regarding the center console of a B7:

First off will the B7 center console even fit in a B6?

If so, what are the part(s)/part number(s) needed for the conversion in the Black/Soul color?

Lastly, has anyone done this conversion?

Can anyone get an ETKA shot of the console?

I remember reading somewhere that the e-brake would have to be relocated but its probably possible, just with a lot of money...

I got the part numbers for the parts that are needed for the conversion. I am going to get these parts ordered soon.

8E0 863 241 E 6PS centre console
8E0 863 284 C 6PS trim Electrical Socket
8E0 862 533 D 5PR cup/drinks holder
N 910 239 02 3.5x12R Bolt

Note these part numbers are for the Soul/Black interior color. Also ETKA shows the bolt as the part number listed I need to verify that it is the correct number.

If anybody would like the illustration/ different color please PM me.

I'll keep you guys updated when I get these parts.

Keep in mind that there may be some additional parts needed but by the way the diagram looks it will probably be nuts and bolts.

Just got mine in the post from Germany. Looks like it will fit right in. Just need to get an armrest now. I'll post pics when I do the swap. Mind you, it'll be a really long thread when I do, as I'm going to be swapping out nearly my entire interior from tan to black and grey.

Any progress on the console swap? I ordered the parts and find the console comes with the cup holder attached. Still need the small tray behind the cup tray and will the B6 arm rest work on the B7? Looks like will need to pull the stereo and such to free up the console.

I'm waiting for some other trim bits. See, I'm not just swapping in a center console. I'm replacing the entire interior. From tan to black and grey. So I'm waiting for all the pieces so I don't have to repeat the labor.

Did you use another e-brake bracket or just slide it over to accomidate the new console. New e-brake cowl? Any other issues or work arounds needed?

ya i just moved over the factory ebrake and i did have to modify my cowl i have the new one but its different just dremel the edge a little bit and u will never see it even with ebrake up all the way
