Thats weak as hell. That guy in the R32 should be ashamed of himself. The R32 should have handed the old rabbit copious amounts of his own ass. :)

Old skool rocks! yeeaahhhh! Picked up another A2 couple of weeks ago and I'm still putting it together. Should be presentable in another few weeks. I may be riding in it at the next KK GTG!

what's up with the GTI? A 2.0L 16V shouldn't be able to take an R32.

Is the GTI on roids or something?

Or is the R32 driver a rookie?

Looks like the R32 just came out of the dealer, maybe not brake in yet.

The r32's stock power is definatly overestimated by many people. My good friend who races in plenty of scca regional events around the NE region in a 600hp 944 turbo just got one. Now he knows how to drive, one of the best drivers i know. When he and i ran together, it was almost dead even. All i have for peformance is wett 1.0bar chip, borla exhaust with test pipe so no cat, n75 valve and some light rims. I was shocked when it was such a close race. Thing is, i know a guy who just put a cold air intake, cat back, and software on his r32, and its real fast. Just a little work to those and they fly, stock, they arent too impressive power wise, they weight a sh*itload so it balances out.

On paper the #'s look impressive. Didn't know that the car was a little sluggish.

I still dig the R32.... I like how Golfs drive in 2WD form, must be pretty wild with AWD!

too bad we don't get to see them north of the boarder [:(]

I believe it!
My '83 GTI weighs only 1,960 lbs with a built 2.0 and 4.25 ring and pinion w/Quaiffe diff really rocks a lotta peoples minds. Never under estimate the little Bunnies!
