I am looking to upgrade my 98' A8 brakes and I was thinking that a nice pair of S8 (4.2) or (v-10) brakes would be nice, not to mention I would gain the cool S8 on the caliper. Any suggestions on how I could accomplish this...is it an easy swap or is major mods required as with the Porsche Big Brake upgrade? Any info would help....thanks! [drive]

Does Audi USA offer the carbon ceramic brakes?

I have a few sets available if anyone needs/ wants some. Calipers and disks orginal OEM straight from Germany.

M power this!

Ceramics are not in the U.S. yet. I'd check out www.stasisengineering.com for serious brakes! Go with the brakes you find on Audi's race cars, not street cars!!!

Since you have a 98, I would upgrade using the brakes from the earlier (same as yours) S8. It'll be cheaper and properly engineered for your suspension, caliper mounting points, etc.
