my rear wiper does not work on my 98 avant 2.8
it does, however, manage to move about 1/2" every time i turn the ignition on. if i do this 20 times or so, it will make it all the way to one side, and when i continue, it will begin to make its way back. but, it does not work when i need it to. you know, like, when i'm driving.
any ideas? fuse is good. front wipers and washers work.

also: manual says fuse #8 should be vacant. mine had a 5amp fuse in it when i bought it, and it has connections to plug this fuse into (as if a fuse should be there...no idea what it's doing)
#7 is vacant, but manual says it should be an ABS fuse
#41 is vacant, should also be an ABS fuse.

i do not know if my ABS is working, now that i think about it, because i have not yet driven it in the snow.

any ideas for any of this, anyone?
thank you

I have the same problem, not really sure what it is. Havent had the time to take it apart and figure it out. I'll let you know if I get it fixed.

The rear wiper is a common issue. I've repaired them before. Search for my post.
