Looking for a B5 S4 Avant.....anyone know?

Prefer local sellers in bay area or socal if possible.

Ideally I would like a TIP but will consider 6-speed as well. (need at least 1 auto car in my stable)

1st Color choice: Laser Red w/ black or 2-tone interior

2nd Color choice: Imola Yellow

Mods ok as long as the car has been taken cared of :)

I don't know if they made any laser red avants.
imola, tip you should be able to find though, no problem.
used s4 avants go for 25-30k with decent miles, and certified usually also

they did make laser red s4 avants, but they're even rarer to see than the nogaro s4 avants. (one was present during an az drive through livermore.)

not interested in a 5-spd look-alike?

Nah..they didn't make Laser Red S4 Avant...Oh wait..I had one...I guess they did. They made S4 avants in any of the color palette colors...I have seen Cactus Green, Silver, Red, Nogaro, Santorin Blue, Casablanca white, Pearl White, Imola Yellow, and Brilliant Black. Avants are rare..rare colors on Avants are even more rare. Rick Snyder in Colorado also had a Laser Red avant...just to name another.

I guess I will start my search later with dealers, craigslist and AZ as a start...haha!

I love Imola but already have a yellow car and a black one. Figured I'd either get a red Avant or if all else fails, then I'll get the Imola or Nogaro instead. Gotta get a TIP since the g/f and parents have to be able to drive at least one of my cars while here!

none the less, if there's five in the country (or something crazy), it's pretty unlikely that he'll find a local sale one. but anything's possible.

angryswede...there are numerous Laser Red S4 Avants in the country. When I got mine...there were two others in Colorado..not to mention my friend who also had one. Apparently the dealer in Denver got three of them at about the same time. You are right..finding a Laser Red S4 avant, with onyx leather..with Tip...in the Bay Area would be rare. The guy who bought mine might surprise us all and put his up for sale...but it was a 6spd. I know of someone selling a black one...if he is interested.

The Avant was only sold as a 2001 and 2002 model, no 2000. But, you should look up Audi's certified used models for Avants throughout the country. Here's the link:

There was a Nogaro Avant here in a So. Cal dealer a few days ago as well. I would also recommend leaving your name with a larger Audi dealer since there should be lease returns around this time. Good luck (especially with a red one).

Just did a search on E-bay and couldn't believe not one 01-02 S4 avant came up on my search...haha

I guess you guys are right, Avants are hard to find and getting the right one in the bay is even harder!

Ben: Yeah the guy who bought my car, Roland lives right there...I work 2 min. from that intersection so I see my own car everyday when I head to Cupertino Village for lunch :)

I miss my S4 :(
