"One of the biggest surprises in this year's results is the complete absence of BMW as a top scorer in any category."
I think we have Chris Bangle to thank for that.

About time people started waking up and realizing the fabulousness that is Audi, especially the new A8. That car is possibly the epitome of elegance. It's so hot right now...

I love the A8. My local dealer says he sells a lot of them and is pulling in other business. I hope this sets the tone for future Audis.
As for BMW... see my other post.
The A8 is a great car, i just hope i don't start seeing them in rapper's videos, like the BMW 7 series, can't wait for the new S8.
Nice to see that the other automotive journalists concur with my AZ "first look" review of the amazing A8L last year [;)]

no supprise here. [cool] and touareg taking top honours isn't much of a supprise either. the next closest pick was probably the cayanne. but as we all know, it's price tag is what held it down.
the unexpected winner (i think), was the 300C. granted this is an awesome car in the flesh, but with some of the other sedans out there getting rave reviews from c&d and the like, that would make this the improbable choice. the mazda 6 or acura tl type-s are the two i expected to win this catagory. props to chrysler.
