Do they make an OEM replacement rotor for the B6 S4? I think I remember seeing a 345mm x 30mm stasis / alcon rotor but I can't find it anymore, even their website. Can you guys from Matrix enlighten me?
You're not thinking of the ECS 2.pc stock sized rotor, are you?

Hi udderpower,
STaSIS does not make a replacement Alcon XDR rotor for the B6 S4 like they do for the B5 S4 as the XDR isn't needed. The stock B5 S4 rotors really suck (pad deposits, warping, etc) whereas the B6 S4's don't.
I assume your rotors need replacing at this time?

They have one for the B5 S4? 321x30?
Hmm interesting [wrench]
I wish I'd have known this 2 weeks ago. Replacement DBA 5000's just arrived. [headbang]

Yes, they've had them for years;
STaSIS StreetSport 12.6" XDR front rotor kit for S4/A6/Allroad 2.7T; 2 Alcon (321 x 30mm) directionally vented/heat treated/segmented gas slotted 2pc floating rotors, 2 STaSIS directionally vented rotor mounting hats;
$895
DBA's are good though too.

Actually no, I have a B6 A4 but was looking to jump to using the B6 S4 calipers with an Alcon / Stasis rotor for further performance. What do you think?

Also a side question, will a B6 S4 345mm x 30mm work with a Cayenne 6-pot caliper?
M power this!

udderpowerr, it'd be a great idea. but they don't make them for your car. just wait alittle longer and go the full kit!

Yeah, I'd like to get the Alcon Mono 4 328mm kit.

The 328mm mono4 is a wicked setup.
I was on a cruise this weekend with a fellow AZer who owns an S4. When going through the twisties he told me he felt his OEM brakes fade after repeated use while I didn't feel any change in my braking performance at all.
Now I know it isn't fair to compare an OEM S4 setup to an Alcon BBK but the S4 setup is in BBK size territory.

Actually, they do have a 345mm x 30mm Alcon rotor. It retains the oem A4 calipers and carrier. However, these babies cost about $995usd (rotors and carriers). I believe you can purchase just the rotors from them.
Email them and you'll find out, that's what I did.

Also, for your question regarding the Cayenne 6-pot caliper, no it will not work.

Holy crap...are you saying you can use those rotors on a B6 A4 caliper?
