I am really diggin' this new car. Does anyone know what the price range is going to be for this? I know BMW is coming out with their new 1 series in the States, and it is going to be around the mid-20s (so they say), who knows after dealer mark up and all that crap.
Also, I remember seeing a pic of the A3 with an ABT body kit on it. Does anyone have that picture?
If anyone has some info on this car, it would be great to hear some. All I know is that it will come with an optional 2.0T that has 200hp, which sounds pretty good to me.

i think the starting price is around $25,000 and up

would never buy one, and dealer markup on that car, i think i would laugh in the dealers face.
My family has bought some rare cars and been first in line from surrounding dealerships and have NEVER paid MSRP or Higher.

Depending on the price, I might buy one. I hear that it is a definite yes that they will bring an s3 version of the sportback over. Too bad it won't be the 3 door version which looks so much better.

An S3 would be phenomenal. If it uses the same engine as the S4. :)

I saw two RS4s and an S3 today on one block in a total time of less than 2 minutes.
Damn I love being here in Munich.

Yea an S3 would be very nice here in the States. For the $25,000 price tag, I would say you get a lot of car for the money. But I guess I will just wait to test drive one of these when they get over the pond.

Oh, and sorry I posted it in the A4 forum, I didn't see a A3 one, so I thought that it would get the most looks there. :)

I know A3's (S3's) are available in Mexico as well as Canada. Does anybody know the possibility of bring one into the states?

I heard there will not be an S3 going forward. Instead their is plans for an RS3 with a twin turbo 3.2 producing 350hp. STI killer.
