For all you playas and playettes not entering yer ride in the car show (cuz yer scared of last year's 1st place winner Ken), fear not! NorCal Audi to tha rescue. As some of you may know, NCA always hosts a spiff Audi corral and this year's no different. Think of it, an exclusive "private" car corral just like the PCA, Lotus Club and Ferrari Club do, a fantastic view of the track, and discounted tix! [cool]

Here are the details (thanks Daryl)...

I finally got confirmation regarding our Audi club corral and ticket pricing for ALMS at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma. I’ll keep things short & sweet so here is the info.

First, Brad Lawrence, Director of Ticket Sales, is our direct contact for club ticket purchasing. Please ask for him or send him an e-mail directly with your ticket order & he will get back to you with a confirmation. I will list his contact information below.

Our usual spot above turns 3 & 4 has been changed this year. This is because GM is organizing a huge showing of Corvettes this year. They plan to have about 500 corvettes in attendance. Therefore, we will be located above TURN #7 this year. This location will give us a view of most of the track, which is always good.

Please place your orders ASAP if you plan to go. You must state that you are a member of NorCal Audi Club to receive the special ticket pricing & parking credentials! Brad is ready & waiting to hear from you!!!

Ticket Pricing:
Saturday, July 17th: $15.00/ticket
Sunday, July 18th: $30.00 /ticket
All tickets come with Paddock & Corral parking passes as well as a souvenir pin. Only those ticket holders or vehicles with Corral passes will be allowed to park in the Corral according to Brad.

Can't you figure away to combine the two, i.e. park near each other or something. I don't real care about car shows, but i want to see good racing, and hang with alll the cool Audiphiles.

Just do one or the other and you'll get to hang with the AZE [cool] I just don't wanna see anybody gettting "pedestrian" tix and have to deal with crappy parking and such. C'mon feel the Audi love!

You can register for membership through the NCA website for free I believe. Turn 7 is an excellent vantage point due to its elevation. The corral has the advantage of drastically reducing the danger of door dings and remote parking. It's also a great way to socialize with your fellow Audi fans. Occassionally, you'll also get a close look at Audi racecars such as the RS6s or the Stasis A4 in years past. I don't know what they've got up their sleeves this year, but at the very least, you'll be with your Union (Auto that is) brothers and sisters [:)] Look forward to seeing everyone out there. Don't forget to bring plenty of sunblock and good walking shoes (tho' watching radom race hootchie in spike heels yesterday was entertaining)
