You think they would have to be rebuilt after 26k miles ?
I plan on doing the install myself, so labor for install is some savings but since they are $1995.00 new, I thought 1400 was a little high for used ones.
Now if I have to rebuild them then no way $1400 is good.
who has these on their car ...any opinions on handling and satisfaction with the product....
any opinions please, would really help my decision.
OH, BTW they come with 500/550 lbs springs too.

I think the spring rate should be higher, but it's probably made for the 500/550 spring rate. I think the 700/900 rate setup would be better. I've ridden in that setup and it was perfect...very comfortable ride. The Tracksports are very, very nice...especially if you have it with the dampening mod (a hole drilled in the engine bay so you can adjust the front dampening while on the car). Give STaSIS a call and see what they recommend you do...maybe the spring rates fit your type of driving.

The guy who's selling has the 500/550 springs but says that STaSIS told him that (Eventhough they are used), they would honor exchange on the springs to the next buyer (ie: myself) for free....(still need to confirm that with STaSIS, but that's what he says they told him)
So if I have this option, I might go with stiffer 700/900.
That's still undecided, thus I'm trying to learn more about this and get some opinions.
THanks for the input , very helpful.

Yes they are a superb set up. My buddy is running them with 800 front and 1100 rear spring rates on the S4. kind of stiff for everyday driving but it handles like you'd never imagine. I agree 500/500 would be too soft if you are a B5 S4. Like Ryan said 700/900 are what people usually go for on street. If you stay between 700-900 rates you should be happy. Give stasis a ring I've heard great things about the customer service and helpfullness.

Right on, thanks for your help.
I'll give them a call Mon/Tue and decide on what rate.
I'll post if I end up get this setup.

BTW I think they charge somewhere around 150 a corner for rebuild, but you can ask them on monday to make sure.

I have 700/800 tracksports and I must say they are pretty awesome. FYI I paid $1400 for mine with 5k on them.

That helps alot...I'm looking into 800/1000 maybe..like it stiffer but not super uncomfortable
how is the ride with this set up....bumpy?

I wouldn't call it bumpy but it's definately stiff. It handles small bumps very well for the high spring weights but bigger bumps hit pretty hard. The car corners extremely well and is very balanced. Personally I wouldn't go any higher than 700/800 but that is just me. It also depends on the quality of roads where you live, I live in SoCal so for the most part the road are pretty good.

thanks for great help in my decision making.
S4Rye suggested 700Front/900rear set up which is a good option I've read on the other forum, so might go with that.
still debating...
