a4 questions

hi,
i'm very interested in purchasing an a4 in the near future. most likely for the 3.0 quattro because i don't really plan on modifyng it too much, a la 1.8t.

some basic questions:
1. what's the difference between the suspension in the sport package and the ultrasport package?

2. when are the 2005's models expected to arrive at the dealerships?

my preferences on the 3.0 are a moonroof, xenon lighting, painted lower panels, factory underbody kit, and the sport suspension.

can anybody elaborate with informative information?
any other good pointers you guys may want to point out for a new buyer?

All newer models come with painted lowers and the sport suspension is not a stand alone option. It is included in the "sport package."

Factory underbody kit is part of the "ultra sport package." Look to add around $2500 for it.

Check out www.edmunds.com or www.kbb.com to price your car to be with options. I would suggest you stay away from Rusnak Audi in Pasadena. Most of their sales staff are incompetent and known for being worthless after you've signed your papers.

Looks like you're looking for a 3.0 with premium and ultra sport packages. Shouldn't be too hard to find one sitting on a lot somewhere near LA.

1. suspension between sport and ultrasport is exactly the same

2. 05s are already on the lot

i would go for the ultrasport package that way you wouldn't really have to spend extra on a body kit and plus you get 18" wheels and the sport suspension too.

black 6-speed ultrasport sedans are hard to find. If you are getting a 3.0, you might be spending about 42K. I saw a used 2004 S4 selling for 46K. There is a world of a difference between the S4 and the A4. Different interior, different engine, different grill...
