B8 A4....

So I was looking around trying to find a thread on the new B8 body style. I googled the actual car and I found images of the new B8 that really get me EXCITED. My fiance told me I better pay this car off, but, damn that new B8 looks good to me. Anyone know the release date? I read "2009" on one site but I'm like is it going to be a 2009 model that's released in the fall of 2008 or is 2009 going to be the release year? Also does anyone know what the price the B8 will start out at. I am sorry if these are repeat questions but I did honestly try the search function and couldn't come up with anything. [race]

I don't think it looks bad. I'm just sure it's going to weigh too much for whatever pathetic engine they put in there.


Either way, no more A4's for me. I'm going to try a different route and buy cars that are fast to begin with instead of ones that are fast when modded. LOL [:D]

Fall 2008 release date in N. America.

2.0T and 3.2 V6 both up slightly in power, nothing major though.

Expect pricing to be very competitive with the 3 sieres. The new TT is nearly dead on with price of the Z4.

The new streched wheelbase gives it a CLS or G35 look from some angles, yet the front view makes the car look like a TSX with an audi grill. Its definitly a small car trying to look grown up. I've heard rumors that the interior is headed in the A6 direction, away from current B6/B7 style.

I don't like those oversized mirrors, they look acceptable on the Q7 but not on the S5

I think that the three links that were posted in the second link the pic of the A4 looks like a jetta. I still like the USP B6 as the best stock design out of the factory for an Audi

but, if I could mix audi parts.

USP with S4 door baldes, S4 rear, S4 recaros, RS4 pedals. (Many may argue B7 RS4 rims, but I personally like the B5 RS4/USP rims better)

This would IMO be the best looking all OEM Audi A4.

I like the USP wheels the best out of all the rims they offer I would pic them over some of the aftermarket ones. S4 door blades would be a nice touch, but you cant go wrong with the stck ones on the USP as its better than none.

i love my USP...a little RS6 flavor in the front, euro short bumper in the back...blades...trim....hmmmmmmm. USP goodness!

The '09 A4 looks fugly. Did the wheelbase increase? The AVant looks sooo long. Not liking it. I'd rather drive my B6 AVant.
