the Avant's new 20 X 9 35mm ET

Kim and I talked it over and felt that the only mod we're going to be doing will be cosmetic ie more show than go. With that being said and knowing that we'll be moving up to an A6 we decided that the wheel we get for the Avant should easily transfer over and still look great.

The wheels were offered to me at a price I couldn't pass up and after some short dilberation...it was a GO. We're waiting for the tires to come next week where we'll get them mounted and onto the car. Now Kim will be blingin w/ her DUBS and her RING [:D]

Some may disagree that 20's are too big for the A4 but who cares...it looks GREAT [:D]

to answer your question...I was previously running 19x8.5 25mm ET

I've modded the fender up front to compensate for the potential rubbing. As for the rears...yes they will rub they rubbed w/ 25mm ET probably not as much on 35mm but you gots to pay to play.

unbelievable - some of us have 19's and drop to 18's, others have 19's and go up to 20's. I wish I lived in socal so I could be a baller like that - DC roads are just too unforgiving =)

oh snap: the S4 Brakes will have to suffice for the time being...that's all the modding i'm doing on this avant that and the S4 rear bumper.

No kidding bout the insurance...well they will get attention as there's only 2 in the US that has these on an audi...the other is on the AutoSportWerks Avant.

I'm getting some Toyo Proxy 4's should get them this coming week.

yes the ideal size is 30 but those are hard to come by as you stated and very expensive...i ended up using Toyo's which only has 35 in the 20's in the size needed which changes the overal diameter a little over .5" not a big difference...but w/ their sponsorship of the tires you can't be picky!

But why are you wanting to get the S4 US rear for the a4? Seems like a cool thing to do if your gonna get your $ back later. those rims are gonna look slicker than ice on the A6.
