I know people have put the OEM b5 RS4 wide body kit on their a4/s4’s. Does anyone know about doing this on the b7? I know the RS4 Avant is not available in the states, but is it possible to get the parts? Does anyone know how much this would cost, or has this been done before on a b7?

Yes, it can be made, a guy here in Finland has done it.

Yea, anything can be done..
I remember when peeps started going it to the B5 chassis, spending at least 10k in parts and another 5-6k in labor.. Its mostly plug and play (sorta) with the exception of the rear quarter panel which has to be welded in place..
Sweet for sure, but you might as well pick up an Rs4 sedan and go that route IMO..
