I smoke in my car....but I'm real careful about it, try not to get ash everywhere. I let my friend borrow my car one night....i have ashes alll over my dashboard. Looks like a full body detail this weekend!

Smoke? I don't even let people bring water into my car. All fast food goes in the trunk 'til I get home. If I go drive-thru, I get out and put the shit in my trunk.

WOW....food in the trunk???...dang, i eat and drink in there all the time....smoke, maybe once or twice a day, with windows down about 1/3, sunroof open, and mid vents on where my air freshener is.....

smoking is sick, I wouldn't do it anywhere, must less my car so it smells and looks like an ash tray.
Yeah food in the trunk sounds a little excessive, but to each his own. I smoke in mine and i can be as careful as humanly possible, but i still get a collection of ash that needs to meet the air compressor every week.

no cigarettes in the car, food is allowed in the car, but rarely allowed to be eaten in it, I smoke alternative organics in it all the time though, and it seems to have no lingering odor at all

Really??? lucky. I have cloth seats though....so that smell stays for a while.

As long as you have leather seats the odor should be minimal if at all. I don't smoke so no smoking in my car is allowed for personal health reasons not for the sake of my interior. I only allow certain foods to be eaten in my car, such as, chicken tenders and french fries. I don't allow any sauces or foods that contain sauces (such as hamburgers) to be eaten in my car because it could drop onto my carpet and ruin it. I drink in my car ALL THE TIME!!! I even have an Audi tumbler that I drink out of.

Yeah its all about the pleather, no odors seem to soak in.
and ^^^, you won't allow food with sauces cause they might drip, but you drink in your car all the time.... I just don't get it?

Sauce has more viscosity and makes it a little harder to clean up. AND you can make fun all you want of pleather. I'm guessing you have an S4 or something by the way you talk. OH AND BTW my pleather holds up much better than real LEATHER. Oh and note that I said I drink in my car all the time. That doesn't mean anyone else can or does. I am extra careful and in all of my days of driving I have never spilled a beverage in any car I've owned *knocks on wood*.

I love the pleather!! mine still looks new.lol now wear or tear at all..and its been 5 years...4 years in FL and 1 year in chicago..and nothing..gotta love the pleather..and for smoking that shit is nasty..took me 8years to realize that then went cold turkey.. i started when i was in 8th grade till senior year in college...im so glad i quit.

i smoke in mine...i knoe...im dirty, my habit is dirty....shame on me...
as long as the carpet and dash are cleaned regularly, there really is no lingering smell much beyond just a faint bit....but i only smoke with all of the windows down, and leave them down for a bit after im done to help discipate the smell. if i dont smoke in it for a couple of days, my non-smoking friends tell me they cant smell a thing.
Never had an issue with a scent lingering, only if I'm smoking while parking and have to roll the windows up after getting out. If i drive and smoke, next time I ride in it I can't smell anything, my girlfriend doesn't smoke and shes never complained about the smell of cigarettes in my car.

I hope someday my fiance will realize what a nasty habit it is and quit cold Turkey.....so far.........no progress. He becomes a complete grouch when he tries to quit and he gets to be quite unbearable to live with.

I'm another dirty smoker who smokes in the car... My technique is to roll only the drivers window down about 1" and then point the vent near the window up & out to help push the smoke out. When driving above 25 mph the smoke seems to get sucked out the window with very little residual smell.

Yeah accept everytime the A/C vent is blowing somewhat strong, it ashes my cigarette for me into my lap.

My fiance has a 350 and he will park and get out of his car and smoke a cig just so that he doesn't do it in his car. He's so obsessed with his car. He told me to drive it once and out of fear I declined.

It happened to me too last year..3mths then downhill but ever since this new years..(you know how every smoker says on NYE"I will quit this year") I actually quit and still going strong..its like i never smoked before kinda weird..i still hang out at bars..get wasted wtih my friends that all smoke..and no one single craving..but my whole this is to never smoke ANYTHING again.

akademilks120...lol back in the day when me and my buddies had Hondas...we slammed teh shit outta them..and we had stickers made and put them right on the bottom of our driver adn passenger windows that said "NO FAT CHICKS..CAR WILL SCRAPE!! and one day my friends car got keyed and we all took them off...lol this was back in teh day when i was like 16...now im 23 but your sig reminded me of the old days...

I made it 9 months without smoking about 1 yr ago....then all of my friends decided on night, while out at the bars (and i was HAMMMMMMMEEEERRRREEED) to let me smoke one...which i barely remember doing....
and it went downhill from there...id use alcohol as an excuse...and before i knew it i was back on the habit.
my advice...DONT EVER smoke just one....its never just one.
my father puts it to me this way (and no, im not 18, but my fam is close)...

i smoke alternative organics as well! but no ciggarettes..my moms lex suv took a beating from that. i stopped smoking ciggs anyway.. most of my friends do tho and beg me all the time, pisses me off haha. and ive never used an air freshener and never had too... boooo burn marks

Thats pretty funny cuz my friend has the exact same bumper sticker on his Slammed civic. He has exhaust and everything, so with a full ride it will scrape a bit.
If i have passengers in my car....all you hear is the rubbing in the back from rear wheels rubbing the fenders and the inner lining.

nope, i pull over or wait till i get to my destination.. i've seen what smoking does to cars, and you can be as careful as you want and shit will still happen
food isnt allowed in my car, unless its like snacks or something thats easy to vacuum up

I smoke but don't allow any smoking in the car... period! I used to smoke in my cars, but when a I bought my last car it was brand new, and I wanted to keep it that way. So, I banned smoking in it. Since then I never smoke in the car and on long trips we take butt/pee breaks together [:D]

AHHHH.
I smoke in my car, but I detail it almost weekly inside and out so even my mom and grandma can't tell. (I ask everytime they ride with me)
I ALWAYS have more than one window down so air can get in well, and the biggest thing is to never have the A/C on recirc.
